Tom, the author of this site

Hello there!

I'm Tom from Maryland. This website is where I share my thoughts, projects, and ideas. It is a space for exploring technology, refining workflows, and documenting what I learn along the way.

Professional Focus

I am always looking for ways to improve processes, automate tasks, and solve problems with practical, well-designed solutions.

My background is in web development and data analysis, with a focus on automation and efficiency. I work with JavaScript, Google Apps Script, and Python, using them to streamline operations and create tools that make work easier. My approach is rooted in problem-solving, and I enjoy the challenge of turning a complex process into something simple and intuitive.

Beyond Tech

My family is at the center of my life outside of work. I'm blessed with a wonderful wife and three amazing sons who keep life interesting, challenging, and filled with joy.

When I'm not spending time with family, I enjoy reading and have been particularly drawn to classic literature lately. I'm also an avid Baltimore sports fan, following the Orioles and Ravens closely, as well as UMD football and basketball. I moderate the Orioles subreddit in my spare time. Whether I am deep in a novel, working on a new project, or finding a better way to organize information, I am always learning and looking for the next interesting challenge.

My Journey

My path has taken me from Maryland to North Carolina and back again, with stops in various communities along the way. Below is a visual representation of this journey through time and space.
